Cosmetic surgery of the face is one of the most humbling surgeries I perform. I never lose sight of how much a patient trusts me to work in such a visible area and among features that make us who we are and give us our personality. I very much accept this privilege with the greatest of compassion, caution, and preparation.

My notable skills and confidence in performing facial cosmetic surgery are due to a number of factors. First, I have an extraordinary background of experience in facial surgery for trauma, cancer and reconstruction. This was developed at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and later polished in my years as full time faculty member at the University of Southern California where I was head of a section that taught facial trauma and reconstruction. These many skills learned and utilized in facial trauma, cancer, and reconstruction make me a better facial cosmetic surgeon. Secondly, I am very artistic and creative in my approach to modifying facial features, emphasizing the natural, elegant look, and not something overdone, drastic or totally transformed. I want you to look like your natural self, just younger. I have a reputation for natural, graceful, elegant results. Thirdly, and importantly, I do not accept all patients. I am very careful in our consultation to determine those factors which, all together, make you a good candidate for surgery and a good fit with me. If there is anything that is missing or not a good fit, I do not perform your surgery. I choose my patients just like you choose your doctor.

Together, all of this allows me to create results that are consistently very beautiful, quick to heal, exceptionally natural, and with minimal incisions, especially in the face; an area of such major importance.
