Synmastia CorrectionSynmastia, often referred to as “uni-boob” by patients is a most disturbing consequence of breast implant surgery. It can be very mild to quite severe and is consistently unacceptable to patients that have it. There is no reason why women have to put up with this condition, and it is most reasonable to seek correction. I can help you with this.
Synmastia is an unusual condition after breast enlargement where one or both implants cross over the midline to the opposite side to the point where this condition obliterates or deforms or creates bands across the cleavage. Patients often call this uniboob, or uni-boob, or bread loaf breast or other such things. Surgical correction of synmastia involves removing the implants and re-creating the correct breast pockets with internal stitches, then replacing the implants in the correct position. Often, smaller implants are used. In my hands it never involves any external stitches or bulky compressive devices. The surgery is safe and very comfortable. Virtually immediately after surgery you see your result and it just gets better in time. All the stitches are dissolvable; the recovery is rapid, with return to work in several days, and to some physical exercise within the first week.
Surgery to correct synmastia is one of the many breast procedures I perform in my practice. I have performed many of these procedures over the years with consistently beautiful and natural results. I have special expertise in this procedure and spend a great deal of time discussing your anatomy, listening to your expectations, and interpreting for you what your anatomy and body will allow me to do in a safe and predictable way. In addition, I build a system into every surgery that, initially, allows you to recover much quicker and, secondly, serves to preserve your surgical results. This system includes a special diet, vitamins, supplements, special garments, breast exercises, skin products, physical training and knowing what to avoid. Together, all of this allows me to create results that are consistently very beautiful, quick to heal, exceptionally natural, and with minimal incisions, especially in an area of such great importance to women. I am delighted to surgically provide you with such a profound body image change, and one that has consistently so pleased my patients and changed their lives.
