Lip Reduction
FOCUSING ON

THE PROCEDURE
- Anesthesia can be local or general and the surgery takes 1 to 11/2
hours.
- The incisions are hidden inside the lips, and therefore, totally
imperceptible.
- These can be done very conservatively and in stages to give a soft but
natural result.
- The surgery may need to be performed in multiple small and conservative
stages to get the desired result.
- This can be combined with other plastic surgical procedures.
THE RECOVERY
- You can go home after one hour.
- You can shower and use make up on the day after surgery.
- Minimal or no pain.
- Swelling is moderate and peaks at two to three days then disappears
rapidly over the next week.
- Small stitches that are removed in 7-10 days.
- Resume all activities within the first week.
- Off of work for one day if at all.
