THE PROCEDURE

• Anesthesia can be local or general and the surgery takes 30 minutes.
• The incisions are hidden below the base of the nose and on the exact edge of the upper outer lips.

THE RECOVERY

• You can go home after one hour.

• Swelling is very mild and peaks at two to three days then disappears rapidly over the next week.
• Small stitches that are mostly absorbable or removed in 3-4 days.
• Resume all activities within the first week.
• Off of work for one day if at all.
